We are creating a standard set of APIs to enable developers to integrate permit management into their their own applications.

Our APIs will enable developers to:

• Renew expiring permits
• Discover new permits
• Determine necessary prerequisites
• Manage documents
• And more

We will offer these APIs across a wide range of permits and governments. Ultimately, we feel that a standardized permit API will allow for a faster, safer, and more accessible permitting process for all.

One intriguing use case for our permitting APIs will be applications that enable businesses to open with one click. By combining our APIs with tools like Stripe Atlas and Check Payroll, developers could enable businesses to open with the click of a button.
